Dr. Thomas Wheeler, our high-risk specialist who completed additional training in Maternal Fetal Medicine, leads our team at the Perinatal Center. He offers years of experience when evaluating and treating our patients and their babies.
Pregnancies can be high risk due to complex maternal medical issues or complications with the developing baby. The Perinatal Center will work in a multidisciplinary capacity with your regular obstetrician, neonatologists and other specialists such as pediatric surgeons. Teaming up with the level III Labor & Delivery and neonatal intensive care units, the Perinatal Center provides comprehensive, coordinated and compassionate care.
