Ravi Raju, MD

Dr. Ravi Raju is originally from Hyderabad, India. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad. He then completed his OB-GYN residency at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan, prior to coming to Women’s Health Advantage in 2002.

Dr. Raju is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Raju was instrumental in starting the robotic gynecological surgery program at Lutheran Hospital. He is the assistant Director of Obstetrics in the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program and is actively involved in teaching residents, physician assistants and nurse practitioners. He is also a member of the Laborist Program at Dupont Hospital.

He loves spending time with his wife and three children, as well as reading, running and learning new things.

Special interests include obstetrics and advanced laparoscopic and DaVinci robotic surgeries.

Dr. Raju is my favorite! He’s knowledgeable, friendly, funny and tells it like it is.

Even in somewhat uncomfortable situations, Dr. Raju has a way of making you feel calm. And above all, he still maintains excellent professionalism.

I have always appreciated Dr. Raju answering my questions and helping me to understand some of the changes occurring in my senior years.
