Dr. Lu is a Board certified OB-GYN physician who received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University, with continuing education at Indiana University Kelley School of Business Master of Business Administration with a Healthcare specialization, his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his OB-GYN residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. He obtained an Executive Leadership for Healthcare Professionals Certificate at Cornell University.
Following his residency, Dr. Lu was the department chief of gynecology and laparoscopic surgery in the United States Air Force. He is a past Adjunct Assistant Professor and Clinical Clerkship Instructor for medical students at Touro University in Nevada. Currently, Dr. Lu is an advocate for educational stewardship. He is actively involved as a clinical preceptor for PA and NP students enrolled at the University of Saint Francis program.
Dr. Lu is a community leader and is proactive in philanthropic activities. He serves as Vice President on the Board of Glendarin Hills Association in Angola, Indiana. Furthermore, Dr. Lu serves as the Vice Chief of Staff at the Cameron Memorial Hospital for the 2017 term. In the past, he served for District 3 Aliante Master Association in North Las Vegas, Nevada and for Woodlake Towers Condominiums in Falls Church, Virginia as a board of director member. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Indiana State Medicine Association. Dr. Lu sees patients only at the Angola office.
